Meet the Founders of
Motiv8 USA
Practical Experience That Shapes Everyday Support
Over a decade of work with children, families, and schools have shaped how we support progress in real life.
Who we are
Built from Experience. Guided by Real-World Practice.
Our founders came from working in education and services where they repeatedly saw the same pattern: young people with complex needs not fitting into the system, and the system failing to adapt to them.
That led Lee and Liz to build something more responsive, focused on what works in the moment with the young person, not just what looks right on paper.
With decades of combined experience, they developed systems and programs that have delivered consistent results for young people who had not succeeded through more traditional approaches.
Motiv8 USA is shaped by the way Lee and Liz built their work in the UK: understanding the individual, responding to what is actually needed, and avoiding standard approaches that do not fit the situation.
Many of the families who come to Lee and Liz are facing highly complex, often overwhelming situations and place significant trust in their guidance, a responsibility they approach with care and compassion.

What Makes Motiv8 USA Different
Practical Support That Makes A Difference
Hands-On Support
We stay actively involved rather than stepping back after assessment.
Responsive in Real Time
We adapt quickly based on what is actually happening.
Comfortable With Complexity
We work confidently in situations that require patience, flexibility, and consistency to create progress.
We also understand how systems operate, including school structures, IEP processes, behavioral documentation, and multi-agency coordination.
That allows us to bridge the gap between formal plans and what actually works day to day.
Families often tell us they feel supported because they can see that the work continues beyond recommendations. We stay committed to practical impact.
How We Work
1
Understand the Individual
We take time to understand strengths, triggers, communication patterns, and what daily life really looks like.
2
Build Trust First
Progress depends on relationships. We do not rush this stage.
3
Stabilize Before Expanding
Safety, regulation, and consistency come first.
4
Introduce Structure
Once trust develops, routines, engagement, and expectations are built step by step.
5
Work With the Family
Parents and caregivers are a central part of long-term progress.
Everything remains flexible because every child responds differently.
What Families Say After Working with Motiv8
Families often come to us feeling overwhelmed, unsure what to try next, and in need of real support that works in everyday life.
This is what that experience can look like when the right approach is in place.
